They are a a fresh custom experience catering and events company that offers it’s own private dinning venue (located at 7 South Water Street), as well as the ability to cater in your location of choice. September is National Recovery Month which aims to increase awareness of mental health and substance use disorders and to celebrate recovery. Last year they were able to raise over $25,000 for Addictions Solutions of Nantucket with over 200 participating runners and walkers. Register HERE! Our favorite BARRE heads to BOSTON! If you followed along on Insta, you saw first hand that Forme Barre has now opened up not one, but TWO new gorgeous studios in the city. FIRST UP Forme Barre heads to Back Bay at 338 Newbury Street as your new go to spot with five classes each day running from early AM to after work. This studio has tons of natural light and an oh so convenient location. Then for those in the burbs, Forme Barre has got a STREET TREAT for you! Their second location just opened in the heart of The Street at Chestnut Hill right near Legal Seafoods and across from J. Taking over the space formally occupied by Towne Stove & Spirits is a new french cafe by day and brasserie by night. Rochambeau was named after a French general who fought for the Americans during the revolutionary war and is also tongue and cheek for “rock paper scissors”. When dreaming up this concept, Blueflag Development conceived a narrative of an aristocratic French girl who fell in love with a street kid in Paris, which in turn informed the restaurant design, food and ambiance to reflect their affair. This part classic french/part modern urban soon-to-be hot spot is a super tour de force of Boston restaurant’s best with the Lyons Group at the helm and some top talent in the kitchen. The team is ready to stir things up in Back Bay upon opening in October 2019 so Rochambeau should definitely be on your Boston dining radar!
