August is the perfect time to treat yourself to some much needed R&R, and the oldest salon in the biz is the perfect place to rejuvenate! Offering salon and spa services on Nantucket since 1970, RJ Miller is our go-to salon and NOW…. this largest full-service salon on the island is getting even bigger!
The crew at RJ Miller has been hard at work since February getting the new spa area set up in their lower level, designed and constructed by Joel Walbridge of Everything Home Nantucket, LLC. With three treatment rooms, they will now be offering their facial, massage and waxing services in the new space! They also recently brought in a new skincare line, Image Skincare, to use in their different facial services, ranging from deep cleansing to anti-aging, as well as several types of peels. And if you’re looking for microdermabrasion treatments without the redness, irritation or downtime, their unique system utilizes baking soda and can do just that, all while leaving your skin feeling silky smooth and glowing! (Hello, Hot List Time hACK!) Head over to 6 Amelia and treat yourself! Spa set to open mid-month.

HOT MUST ATTEND FÊTE OF THE SUMMER

Guests will have a chance to bid on stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces crafted by island artists and unique experiences found only on Nantucket. Can’t make it to the Fête? You can still bid on Sense of Place auction items! Join the NPT for an opening night reception sponsored by Cisco Brewers at Sherburne Hall on 11 Centre Street on August 2nd from 5 to 7 PM. The exhibition will be up all week with final bidding at the Fête.
