Getting in a spring state of mind? We are too! And nothing puts us in a blooming spirit on the rock like Tree Bar at TOWN! So first off, don’t be mad at us if you’re drooling by the end of this post… because the new TOWN menu and global dining concept will have you eagar to sprint down the cobblestones and get your seat to savor what’s fresh with Chef Nate’s latest cuisine creations! Here’s the nine things to note this for TOWN on ACK.

1. The Bar SnACKs

Switching up the traditional bar snacks … TOWN now showcases dill pickle dusted popcorn, citrus and chili marinated olives, and even chicharrones (crispy fried porks skin) which are the perfect savory snacks for those bar flies looking for some delicious bites while they quench their thirst!

2. Those Summer Sippers 

Speaking of quenching the palate… our new favorite cocktail is the “Tai One On” ! The drink on the TOWN global cocktail list,  gives a play on the classic Mai Tai with a satisfying summer sipper consisting of Cisco’s Hurricane Rum, hibiscus tea, pineapple juice and thyme!
In the mood for something more bubbly? Be sure to look over the newest addition to their sparkling offerings, the blACKbook sip  of the summer, a.k.a. Wölffer’s No. 139 Dry Rosé Cider!

3. That Redefined Street Food

By taking his love for the global dining scene and evolving it on to creative small plates, Chef Nate has created a menu that showcases his twist on street food. This includes Jamaican Jerk Spicy Tacos, Korean Fried Wings (tossed in Gochujang hot sauce!) and Mediterranean style falafel balls served with a refreshing side of tahini yogurt and a fava salad.

4. That Twist On A Tuna Favorite  

For those craving a raw tuna  fix, take note! The tuna tostada is now on the menu, and it’s just as tasty to instagram as it is to eat!

5. Those Feasts For The Table

New to the TOWN scene is the dining feasts available for a party of two to a party of twenty. These share plates offer a beautiful way for a table to taste Chef Nate’s culinary specialities… including the Argentinian Mixed Grill with prawns, chimichurri flank steak and linguiça. ¡Mmm!

6. That Talented TOWN Team!

Owners John Keane and Caroline Montgomery have developed a skillful team to rebrand and  redefine the TOWN concept … Bringing in a dynamic duo of front and back of house expertise, in 2017 we welcome Taryn Marquez who has been living on and off the rock since 1998. She brings with her two decades of restaurant knowledge and hospitality management and will be the lovely friendly face that you see when you walk into Town throughout the season. In the back of the house, celebrating his first full year as Chef of TOWN and QUEEQUEGS is the multi-talented Nate Hanyzewski who has spent the greater of the past ten years in the dining scene on Nantucket. His passion begins with bringing global cuisine to a local level and his new menu is just so creative and so delicious!

7. That Tree Bar Schedule

For those itching to sit and sip and savor under the iconic TREE BAR at Town, this island favorite opens for the season for Wine Festival weekend and will begin serving brunch Memorial Day weekend! (PS… keep a lookout for that new daytime menu coming this May!)

8. That Singapore Lobster Dish

We this the gem of the Town share platters is the Singapore Chili Lobster, which features chard greens, jasmine rice and steamed buns… a beautiful global twist a classic nautical favorite!
