Time to thank our lucky stars… The wildly popular 167 Raw has brought the dishes from their Charleston hotspot up to Nantucket with the launch of their 167 Raw Food Truck! And if you’ve been fortunate enough to dine at their space in SC, then you can expect just that on ACK… Clean and simple food that is beyond delish. Head on over to 167 Hummock Pond Road for lobster rolls, tuna burgers, fish tacos, fresh ceviche, + killer guac in a causally cool setting… BONUS: owner Jesse Sandole just told me that they will be adding their 10 hour smoked pork carnitas next week and I’ve literally been dreaming about them since I was at their restaurant in Charleston last October. YESSS.

The 167 Raw Food Truck open daily 11AM to 7PM … perfect place to pop by and grab food to bring to the beach or the ideal spot to savor a meal after a surf!

Okay, so did you know that Straight Wharf is celebrating 40 years this season?! Yes, as if we need another reason to toast down at SWR!! But seriously, while the clambake is always the dining rage, I’ve got to admit, my SWR crush (other than my boyfriend bartender) is their CHICKEN. This sneaky staff favorite showcases chicken under a brick over a beautiful mixture of asparagus, favas, fiddleheads, English peas and morel crema! Pair it with a Bachelet-Monnot Maranges 1er CRU red burgundy and prepare to have your taste buds explode with happiness. FYI: The bar grill is now open for more casual dining and the restaurant is currently open six nights and closed for one more Monday (the 20th) before getting to seven nights a week.

Our guys at Handlebar know good coffee. Hell, they keep me moving at warp speed with their nitro brew! And this season, they’re letting you take home a little handlebar with you, with their hand crafted Cobblestone Blend! And this coffee is the perfect compliment to a summer day. Nauti Lamb Chops

Listen, I haven’t been so excited about lamb chops since 2006 when I used to eat four orders at Cinco’s bACK in the day… but Nautilus is bringing the CHOPS bACK… And these harissa spiced lamb chops are so good, you’re not going to want to share… so do yourself (and your friends) a favor and don’t even attempt to co-order this flavorful dish. You’ll want to relish both and lick the bones clean. Oh, and PS… did you see Nautilus get a shoutout in Travel + Leisure? Make sure to pick up the latest copy with Nantucket on the cover as they call Nautilus “one of the hottest spots on island” … and we have to agree! FYI: they now take day of reservations starting at the door at noon and phones open at 1PM.



I’ll take two for the POWER BALL

Honestly, I’m on the run during the summer like it’s nobody’s business. But my business keeps me eating well and my friends at Nativ Made have been saving me this summer with their delish new Meusli Power Balls! These packaged goods are a light grab and go snack and packed with tons of protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals! Only the good stuff right here. So when you need a boost, but don’t have time for a full sit down, these power balls are the way to go! NOTE: they also just added tons of fresh snACKs like spiced nuts, housemade hummus, kale chips and even dried mangos + pineapples… YUM!

Okay, so I go to Ventuno and order the same thing every time because I am a creature of habit in this incredible farm to fork Italian dining spot! But recently, I’ve gotten outside my primi box and stepped into their antipasta with an appetizer like none other! Welcome the Wagyu eye round carpaccio with marinated and fried artichokes, watercress salad and a preserved lemon tonnato sauce… this tantalizing app will have your mouth satisfied and begging for more… just make sure to save room for those epic bombolocinis… we are literally over the moon obsessed for these semi sweet chocolate stuffed donuts served warm and caramelized with a housemade coffee gelato!

We toasted to the summer at Island Kitchen with a blACKbook event this week… and what we can say is that this place not just your breakfast and lunch spot anymore… dinner is HOT right here on their newly remodeled patio. When you’re looking to get a good drink and a great bite to eat in a casual location with easy parking and outdoor dining… well Island Kitchen has you covered! And how gorgeous is their fresh seafood and grilled veggies salad… LOVE!

Okay so you know we love CRU for their incredible food, fab staff and extraordinary views of ACK… and as if we needed another reason to love them… now I’m obsessed with their amazing GARDEN of ELYX! This awesome (and totally insta-swoon-worthy!) pineapple comes stacked with Absolute Elyx, cold brewers green tea, orchard apricot, applejack, rainwater Maddeira, fresh lemon, raseberries and a dash of bitters… a perfect compliment to a hot summer day on the patio and the ideal sharing cocktail for friends… BONUS: starting on June 17th, CRU is open every day for the season! Woo hoo!

Yes, we head to the SeaGrille as much as we can and love this space for the casually cool dining from lunch to dinner… obsessed with their patio bar as seen above! And during  summer season, they give us a great reason to dine later with their $9 at 9PM special! On Fridays and Saturdays at 9PM you can get a delicious bar menu (at the inside AND outside bar!) and everything priced at just $9! My favorite way to savor the night? Head there before a big weekend show at the BOX… enjoy a great meal at a great price and have a few libations before walking across the street to see some awesome live music! It’s a total weekend gem!



STATION 21 NOW DOES LUNCH!

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday enjoy a beautiful lunch menu in a stunning downtown space! Station 21 now offers mid day meals from 11:30 to 2:30 featuring housemade pizzas, small plates, lunch specialty items and crafted cocktails… And take note…  those looking for a late afternoon snack can enjoy their grilled pizzas and a full bar from 2:30PM to 5PM! Station is also open for dinner seven nights a week with a first seating starting at 5PM… hop on over to 21 South Water Street and see what all the buzz is about!
